Imer Oru Far East offers vibroforming machines to produce moulds for precast concrete elements. Using VibroCast technology, these machines and moulds are highly customised based on the customers’ needs.

\n\n

The moulds can be manufactured in different sizes, with endless solutions to meet a variety of requirements. The final products are concrete elements suitable for use in construction and industrial sectors, such as concrete slabs, road kerbs, highway barriers, concrete fences, concrete pipes and paving blocks, to name just a few.

\n\n

The process is quite simple: the mould is first filled with concrete and then vibrated to obtain the self-compaction of the material. Once set, the mould is turned over to release the finished product directly on the floor. With the VibroCast technology, concrete elements can achieve a high compressive strength (HCS) of up to 60-70 MPa.

\n\n

The vibroforming machines are available in four models: VC100, VC200, VC300 and VC400. They are now being introduced to the Asian market and Imer Oru Far East welcomes potential distributors in the region. The company has recently sold one model to a customer in the Philippines.

\n\n

The VC100 can lift concrete elements up to 2,000 kg with a maximum dimension of 1,400 x 1,400 x 1,050 mm, while the VC200 is designed for concrete elements up to 3,000 kg with a maximum dimension of 2,000 x 2,200 x 1,350 mm.

\n\n

The VC300 is ideal for concrete elements up to 3,600 kg with a maximum dimension of 3,000 x 2,200 x 1,350 mm. Meanwhile, the VC400 can lift concrete elements up to 4,000 kg with a maximum dimension of 4,000 x 2,200 x 1,350 mm.

\n\n

The vibroforming machines are equipped with various functions: tele-assistance, automatic lubricating system, double tilting mould motor, adjustable rotation mould on tilting cylinders, quick couplings for the replacement of the moulds without oil leaks, double hydraulic pump for oil separation machine/mould, fifth rotation wheel with separated and dedicated engine and gear, bronze-aluminium bushes, and feed drawer covering 2,200 mm without the need for additional arms or extra cylinders.

\n\n

Optional features include: rack-work drawer system, hydraulic oil heating system, hydraulic oil cooling system, electric winch to lift platforms or steel cages, smoothing device, concrete bucket, and more.

\n\n

Simple to operate with user-friendly features, these vibroforming machines are compact and do not require a large production area, making them an excellent choice for customers that have limited space.

\n\n

The VibroCast technology can also help customers improve their work productivity, as only one operator is required on the vibroforming machine for the handling and one worker to provide the concrete with forklift. In addition, the machines are designed for easy maintenance and transport.

Imer has extended its range of tracked platforms. Among the new models is the IM R 15 DA, which has a working height of 15.10 m and double articulated boom with active jib.

\n\n

The IM R 15 DA offers a maximum payload of 230 kg and single working curve. Its compact dimension, featuring a stabilised machine footprint of 2.92 x 3.08 m, ensures maximum accessibility in any work environment.

\n\n

The standard set-up provides automatic stabilisation with an electronic inclinometer, resulting in quick and easy positioning of the machine. Hydraulically expandable tracks are also standard, which enable movement on inclined planes and better distribution of the machine weight so as not to damage the ground below.

\n\n

A notable feature of the IM R 15 DA is its double articulated boom with active jib, making the machine ideal for all construction site conditions. According to Imer, this double-articulation boom design “allows a climbing over height and outreach (up and over) at the top of the category.” The side outreach is 7 m / 230 kg.

\n\n

Another highlight is the flush-to-wall working capacity from 2.4 m to 4.6 m, which is said to be the highest in the category. Moreover, the articulation height of 7 m enables the machine to easily overcome any obstacles at height. With these features, the IM R 15 DA is suitable for use in construction projects and various other applications such as building maintenance, gardening, and interior maintenance.

\n\n

The total rotation of the turret (180° + 180° not continuous) and the basket rotation of ± 62° ensure good aerial accessibility and complete positioning of the machine in all conditions. The total weight of the machine is 2,030 kg.

\n\n

The IM R 15 DA can be powered by a 11-hp Honda GX390 petrol engine (@3,600 rpm) or a 9.9-hp Yanmar L100N diesel engine (@3,600 rpm).

\n\n

Following the introduction of the IM R 15 DA, Imer plans to showcase its new IM R 23 DA soon, which has a working height of 23 m and also comes with a double articulated boom.

\n\n

These new double-articulated boom models represent a new generation of tracked platforms from Imer, characterised by low weight, a compact structure and a reduced stabilisation area. In addition, the new design of the boom allows for excellent protection of the hydraulic system, especially of the telescopic section of the boom during operation.

Vermeer has expanded its horizontal directional drilling (HDD) fluid management equipment line with the new R600T reclaimer. This 2,271.3-l/min mud recycling system can pair with maxi rigs pumping between 1,135.6 l/min and 2,271.3 l/min on pipeline and other large-diameter installation projects.

\n\n

The R600T features a redesigned linear-motion shaker deck to help reduce weight, increase the available G-force and extend screen life, as well as several other performance and serviceability-enhancing features. With a one-level working deck, fast deploying walkway and centralised main controls area, the new reclaimer can be set up quickly and is efficient to operate.

\n\n

The R600T is the successor to the popular R9x12T reclaimer widely used in the pipeline industry. “Since Vermeer launched its first reclaimer, the industry has embraced mud recycling systems because these machines help reduce the amount of drilling fluid additives and freshwater required on HDD projects,” explained Adam Bates, Vermeer product manager for fluid management equipment.

\n\n

“Our latest generation of reclaimers, starting with the R250C reclaimer and now the R600T, are excellent machines for contractors because they are so efficient and thorough at separating sand and coarse silts from drilling fluids. Our latest reclaimer model, the R600T, offers excellent jobsite flexibility with its ability to work in conjunction with a range of maxi rig drill sizes.”

\n\n

The three-tank (scalped, middle and clean) R600T reclaimer has a total fluid capacity of 29,257.4 l, and can process 4,163.9 l/min of drilling slurry for a true cleaning capacity suited for HDD projects in the 2,271.2-l/min range. The drilling slurry cycles through two 25.4-cm desanders and a desilter manifold with sixteen 12.7-cm desilters to remove sand and coarse material before being deposited onto the unit's linear motion shaker decks. The innovative design of the desilter manifold reduces turbulence when the liquid exits the hydrocyclone to help minimise recycled sand content and keep spoil/soil moisture levels low.

\n\n

Contractors also have the ability to choose their own power source for the R600T. They can configure the reclaimer with an onboard generator set or connect it to another power source they are already using on the job.

\n\n

“Many contractors prefer to rent support equipment on large-diameter pipeline projects,” said Mr Bates. “Equipped with quick-connect electrical cables, crews can quickly connect the reclaimer to a rented generator or even a shared gen set that may also be powering the drill's operator cabin.”
