In 2021, the operating revenue of the entire industry reached RMB 906.5 billion. The overall performance remained high in 2022, although with some adjustment.

Mr Wu explained how Chinese construction machinery products have been widely recognised by countries and regions around the world. In 2021, the export volume exceeded US$30 billion, and in 2022 it exceeded US$40 billion (nearly US$44.302 billion). With a year-on-year growth of 30.2%, he said the industry has not only continuously created new historical highs, but also made new progress in high-end, intelligent and green transformation.

Conexpo 2023 saw the start of the global campaign for BICES 2023. The press conference was also attended by Li Jin, general manager of CNCMC and Zhou Weidong, chairman of CCPIT-MSC.
