Thailand’s Building Construction Technology Virtual Exhibition and Webinars (BCT) are now open and will take place until 1 December. Organised by Impact Exhibition Management Co Ltd, this free-to-attend virtual event provides a series of knowledge-powered webinars focused on digitalisation of the building & construction Industry. It brings construction professionals and industry experts in one platform, together with manufacturers, wholesalers, dealers, and distributors to network and exchange best practices.
BCT offers an excellent on-line platform for participants to experience new and innovative technologies, solutions, products, and services from major global players such as Caterpillar Asia Pte Ltd, Kawasaki Trading (Thailand) Co Ltd, Progress Group (Germany), The Siam Cement Public Company Limited (SCG), and Foshan Surecor Decoration Materials Co Ltd, as well as having virtual meetings to discuss new business opportunities.
Attendees will be able to participate in over 18 live-online conferences, webinars, and virtual panel discussions, conducted with various industry associations such as the Thai Building Information Modelling Association (TBIM), Thai Concrete Association (TCA), Thai Structural Engineers Association (TSEA), Thailand Building Manager Association (TBMA), The Building Inspectors Association (BSA), and Thai Generator Association (GEN THAI). Among topics being discussed include ‘Structural Resistance of Buildings to Earthquake Loads’, ‘Building Management in 5.0 Era’, ‘Digital Transformations’, and more.
There are also live Q&A sessions with more than 40 global experts in the building and construction industry. These comprise: Dr Amorn Pimanmas, president of Thai Structural Engineers Association; Dr Chuchai Sujivorakul, vice president of Thailand Concrete Association; Dr Amarnath Chegu Badrinath, head of BIM strategy at L&T Construction and president of India BIM Association; Dr Ponn Virunluk, vice president of Thai BIM Association; and Carl Silbersky, CEO of BIM Object, Sweden.
The BCT event also features a Thailand Building Information Pavilion (TBIM Pavilion) organised by the Thailand Building Information Modelling Association, with exhibitors such as AP (Thailand) Public Company, Ananda Development Public Company Limited, SC ASSET Public Company Limited, and The Siam Cement Public Company Limited (SCG), to name a few. In addition, there is a representation from Italy brought in by the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), with exhibitors like Bossong SpA and Stucco Italiano Srl.
