Japan Overseas Infrastructure Investment Corporation for Transport & Urban Development (JOIN) is investing JPY 0.6 billion in a new commercial development in Thailand - the Amata Nakorn Project - in collaboration with Fujita Corporation and Amata Corporation PCL.

The project is located in Amata City Chonburi Industrial Estate, Chonburi province, about 60 km southeast of Bangkok. It will feature a hotel and public facilities on about 21,000 sq m of land.

Fujita will design and construct the project, while Okura Nikko Hotel Management Co Ltd will operate the hotel. It is planned to commence its operation in 2021.
