The concrete and masonry industries are set to converge in Las Vegas, USA, in January 2019 for highly anticipated World of Concrete (WOC) event. It will be held from 22 to 25 January (seminars between 21 and 25 January) at the Las Vegas Convention Centre.

The 2019 edition is expected to be the largest WOC event in over a decade, featuring new and innovative products, cutting-edge technologies, exciting spectator events and competitions, and more than 150 educational sessions including luncheons, interactive workshops, as well as industry and hands-on training.

WOC is regarded as the industry’s only annual international event dedicated to the commercial concrete and masonry construction industries. Its previous edition - which took place in January 2018 - was the largest event in nine years attracting 58,000 registered professionals, along with 1,564 major suppliers exhibiting across more than 746,000 net sq ft of space (about 69,306 sq m).

“We are anticipating another exciting event for 2019,” said Jackie James, group director of World of Concrete. “This space draw has surpassed expectations in square footage, and we are confident the 2019 event will be a strong event for both exhibitors and attendees. We look forward to serving the concrete and masonry industries with this annual international platform to network, source and receive valuable education to start the year off strong.”

“There are some very positive changes to the show floor for 2019,” added Kevin Archibald, show manager of World of Concrete. “We have moved the Masonry area to Central Hall, and Technology to the North Hall, to accommodate both of these growing sectors of our industry. We look forward to filling what is left in available booth space throughout the fall, culminating in another action-packed event for our attendees. We also have several new events in the works, and a multi-day expansion of the Masonry Madness events happening in the Bronze Lot.”

The world-class education programme will include 180+ sessions comprising 90-minute seminars, three-hour seminars, 40+ industry trainings and skill-building events, along with more hands-on training opportunities and interactive workshops than ever before.
