Gaggenau at the Eurocucina 2014: A Bold Brand Presentation
Views: 239

Amid conventionally styled show booths Gaggenau again opts for a distinct contrast by focusing on the “Tradition of Manufacture” at Eurocucina 2014. Concluding the trilogy begun in 2010 with the factory concept, the manufacturer of professionally inspired appliances for domestic use takes international trade visitors on a journey back to the origins of culinary culture, showcased in a startling booth, modelled on a traditional square farmhouse.

As Sven Schnee, Global Head of Brand Gaggenau remarks on the current trade fair presentation:

“As a well-established international trade fair venue for new trends and currents in the kitchen industry, the Eurocucina is the ideal stage for presenting our products in a wider context. Along with culinary ambassadors, who like us, stand for authenticity, tradition and the highest standards in materiality and production methods, we communicate our brand values of ‘uncompromising’, ‘extraordinary’ and ‘authentic’ and show Gaggenau appliances as tools in culinary processes. The presentation focuses on the brand experience, shaped by a sophisticated lifestyle.”

Insights into the brand essence
Over 250 international journalists take the opportunity at the Gaggenau booth to find out about the company’s appliances, and its ovens and wine climate cabinets in particular. Aside from interchanges with the culinary ambassadors, they appreciate talking personally to Sven Schnee and designer-in-chief Sven Baacke in whose opinion “good product design can influence our enjoyment of food” and must therefore “assume a deeper meaning”.

The designer-in-chief and his design team draw their inspiration from the essence of the brand, boldly insisting on simplicity and dispensing with gimmicks. Consistent and bold – like the presentation at the Eurocucina. The renewed insight into the traditional brand world impressed media and trade visitors again in 2014.
